At these federal- and state-funded business assistance centers, small businesses and nonprofits offer free one-on-one business counseling and training, including the discussion of options for accessing capital. National Federation of Small Business: NFIB is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that advocates on behalf of small and independent business owners. NFIB has compiled financial resources to help small businesses experiencing hardship during the COVID-19 crisis. EMPLOYER RESOURCES SBDC Employer COVID 19 Resource Packet: Provides a variety of resources for COVID-19 disaster relief including loans for qualifying businesses and valuable information for employers and employees. EDD: Employers experiencing a hardship as a result of COVID-19 may request up to a 60-day extension of time from the EDD to file their state payroll reports and/or deposit state payroll taxes without penalty or interest.
