Medical Supply Donations Urgently Needed for China February 13, 2020 Coronavirus, Public Health Alert, Resources Coronavirus, Donations, Jiangmen China Hospital, Medical Supply Donations 0 Riverside County Medical Association (RCMA) participates in the Sister City Program. In 2002 RCMA and Jiangmen Central Hospital developed a relationship which consists of delegations visiting both Riverside and Jiangmen, China to learn each other’s health care system, share knowledge and develop a closer understanding of healthcare issues in each of our countries. Throughout the years RCMA has both hosted delegations and traveled to Jiangmen. As you know the Coronavirus is rapidly advancing throughout China and Jiangmen Central Hospital has already sent a team of specialists to Wuhan to help this overwhelmed region. As a result of this epidemic some medical supplies are now in short supply. RCMA has received an urgent message from Jiangmen Central Hospital requesting donations of medical supplies to help protect physicians who are treating the sick. In response to this urgent request, RCMA is now accepting donations of the following medical supplies, or monetary donations and RCMA will purchase the specific medical supplies, to be shipped to Jiangmen Central Hospital in China: N95 Respirators Protective Face Masks (GB19083-2010) Surgical Masks (YY0469-2011) Single-Use Protective Clothing For Medical Use (GB19082-2009) All donations may be dropped off at: Riverside County Medical Association 3993 Jurupa Ave., Riverside, CA 92506 For larger quantities, RCMA can make arrangements for picked up.
