Patel, M.D. 2024 RCMA President It is my honor to serve as RCMA’s 131st president, following in the footsteps of a long line of outstanding physician leaders. Throughout this year, I am excited to help lead RCMA’s pursuit of our strategic objectives of supporting physician wellness, increasing the physician workforce, helping practices optimize to the new models of care, and continuing to grow our membership. I thank you for your continued support of RCMA and the California Medical Association (CMA). Membership in RCMA/CMA is not just a formality; it is a commitment to the collective well-being of our profession and the patients we serve. It is only because of the support of physician members like you that we can focus on helping the whole physician community. As we look forward to 2024, healthcare will continue to change. It is vital that we change too. This fall our RCMA leaders will meet and revisit our areas of focus to ensure they continue to be the top priorities for issues medicine is facing. I invite you to share with us the struggles you are facing and what you see as coming challenges. What I do know is that there is nothing that can’t be solved when physicians come together.
