One program targets Hospital and Skilled Nursing Facility Workers and the other targets Qualified Health Clinic Workers. Physicians may be eligible for these programs and RCMA encourages all physicians to review the requirements and consider applying to to receive a payment. Below is an overview of both programs. Program #1: Hospital & Skilled Nursing Facility Worker Retention Payments List of Qualifications: Were employed at least part-time during the qualifying work period of July 30, 2022 through October 28, 2022. Are independent physicians or physicians that are part of Physician Group Entities (PGEs) who provided on-site services during the qualifying work period of July 30, 2022 through October 28, 2022. Continue to be employed by Covered Entities (CEs) or Covered Services Employers (CSEs) or who is a physician who continues to provide on-site services as of the date of record, November 28, 2022. Who is eligible? Please see the Eligibility FAQ's for a list of qualified healthcare providers. Important Note: Employers are required to register the qualifying employees and clinics on behalf of the eligible healthcare providers. May not be a manager or supervisor. Must continue to be employed by the qualified clinic through the date that it distributes the retention payments to its employees. Who is eligible? Qualified clinics include all Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) (including Tribal FQHCs and FQHC look-alikes), free clinics, Indian health clinics, intermittent clinics, and rural health clinics (RHCs) located in California. Also included are Tribal FQHCs and Indian health clinics located on tribal land adjacent to California that provide services to American Indians and their families who live in California.
